My husband and I play speedball daily at 5pm.Its there when you want for the time you want.What I like best is the immediate feedback and your ability to see what everyone else bid and made. Great way to learn and see what you did right and wrong.
I use the BBO program many times a week. During the covid shutdown, my bridge class went online and set up times to play in groups of 4. We continue to this day, and with friends who have moved away and relatives who have never lived close by. It provides endless entertainment which is healthy for our brains and our social lives. Love it.
BBO is Great.I am not a good player but I love the game. BBO gives me the opportunity to watch and for me it's a thrill to watch really good players. I can also play solitaire and compete without embarassment. Or, if I'm feeling bold, I can play with people and even with a patner of my choice. And,like a good friend, BBO is always there.BBO offers so much, and almost everything is free.
Playing bridge on BBOis great. You can play for free with friends from afar. You can play in ACBL tournaments. The important part is you don’t need to be alone. You can learn and or perfect your play, or just play for fun. You can use your mind and enjoy friends from around the world.
I like the intuitive feel of BBO, and I like that BBO offers a lot of variety - pair games, team games, ACBL sanctioned games, and casual games.It's also great having the ability to step through a hand I played to see what the bidding was and how the play went - a great resource to improve my game.
BBO is just a brilliant way to play whatever standard of bridge you need. I prefer the casual relaxed since although always playing to win I enjoy the fun!Every morning I do some practice playing Solitaire and every evening play with a partner who I have never meet( we go together online!). An hour and a half of relaxing and hopefully improving my bridge. Love it
