I had a very disappointing experience with emirates . I was travelling with the baby in economy class , the flight was full booked . As mentioned they did offer the bassinet seat but the lil guy did not fit in . I called for assistance all through the flight 12hrs , no airline staff came in to check. I stoped one Staff and asked for few tissue papers to wipe my baby hand , she said sure but never come back . During the drinks service , the staff ignored me all the time , just because I was holding the baby no place to open the tray. the fellow passenger ask me if I need anything and then ask the staff to give me the drink ( water or juice ) . This happen 4 times .. I was shocked that they ignored a passenger with a baby , I also Waited for some one to give me the diaper bag which they put it up the cabin , during take off .. but no one showed up. I ended up asking the co passenger to help me .. terrible staff
I travelled from Faisalabad International Airport (LYP) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) via Dubai on 15th of January 2023. On arrival, the Emirates staff told me that my bag was not loaded from Dubai airport and its left behind. The staff gave me PIR reference letter and told me that the baggage will be delivered to my home address in next three day. Since January I called on 034480065296 (Emirates Helpline) ten times and send them emails but no positive response from Emirates. This is worst experience of my life, I recommend you to not ever travel with them. The customer service is awful and my frustration is beyond explanation.
I am very sorry, but unfortunately I have to express my disapproval here and report that I am deeply disgusted and dissatisfied with Emirats Airline service.I have been thinking for a long time whether to give such a BAD opinion to a company, that before has so far satisfied me as a customer/passenger.Lack of information and misleading the customer is reprehensible and unthinkable. On the flight from Zurich to Dubai, I took an extra piece of luggage weighing 25 kilograms with me, paying 190 Swiss francs (CHF=$) for it. For the same baggage with the same kilograms (25 kg) at Dubai airport, I was charged 2,500 dirhams, which is 628 Swiss francs (CHF=$). It is reprehensible, that the emirates employees at the airport in Dubai lack empathy.Just a few private problems in my life converged and I didn't have much money. I was prepared to pay the same amount as in the previous direction, i.e. around 200 CHF ($) and not 628 CHF ($) as I was asked to do.In addition, the employees of the emirates airline did not allow anyone to help me, refusing to help me, hiding behind the system. I was crying because I was in a difficult situation, a random passer-by wanted to help me, to pay for me, and the employees of the emirates laughed and did not let anyone help me, what kind of farce is this? What kind of people and company is this that stretches the client for such financial and mental costs. So I am asking, what is the system, that at the same distance to the same places, having the same extra luggage and the same kilograms, the line wishes once 190 and once NOT double but TRIPLE MORE!Is it normal?!I don't think so!?The more so, that such a serious company employs employees who do not care at all about being nice to others, they are not willing to help and make fun of the customer?!I have not yet recovered from this tragic situation.I do not recommend this airline, if you do not want to have such unpleasant surprises.
When I tried booking my flight their website said declined, so I tried another way only for it to say declined again - but this time a notification came up on my phone from my bank app saying $2680.93 had been taken out. I check my account and both transactions of $2680.93 had gone through but no flights were confirmed. I called customer service and got one flight sorted and the other refunded. With the advice that it would take 3-4 business days to return to me. 3-4 days come and go, after 10 days I receive an email asking for my bank details and as soon as I respond they will process my refund. I respond immediately and hear nothing. I wait. I call up customer service and I am told it can take up to 25 business days. I speak to someone else who tells me my bank has the money and is holding it. I speak with my bank, they inform me that they never hold a customer's money and that a refund will take a maximum of 10 business days. I call Emirates back and I am told another completely different timeframe. I speak to someone on Facebook who gives me yet another timeframe. It has been 24 days since they took a significant amount money from my account. I've missed rent payments, I've had to cancel medical appointments, I've even had to take time off work as I can't afford the petrol due to being paid monthly and Emirates taking all my reserve money out of my account in an instant with no rush to return it to me.
We returned to London from Bali, via a connecting flight from Dubai, on the morning of 2nd January and unfortunately, both my mother and I caught terrible food poisoning. This was from the food that Emirates served us on board. The food poisoning was so bad that I was sick for 7 hours+ and they called me an emergency paramedic who assessed and wheelchaired me off the aircraft when we landed.I followed up this incident with all the evidence from the paramedic and made a formal complaint to Emirates, for which they failed to give me any form of compensation. Emirates totally denied all responsibility, invalidated my experience and evidence, and on top of that - failed to respond to me in a timely manner! I'm never flying with them EVER AGAIN!
What says in the title. Kept our money failed to issue a ticket did not know what went wrong. Kept promising to fix it and callbacks that never happened right to flight day. We had to buy an alternative ticket last minute for $500 and spent $250 in phone calls abroad. Kept complaining and tried to contact the CEO office they flipped at this said peasants like us were in no place to bother their all mighty CEO, insulted us and stopped all communication.
Ek188 from BCN to DXB was the worst flight I been on for years. It was so freezing cold on the flight for the two first hours , that I woke up sick today, ( day after). Everyone in the cabin was sitting with all their winter clothes on. Cabin crew was totally absence. Food came out after two hours, then no drinks. I got ignored by the Reilly wines from both sides. Seat38G. They claimed they was working according to seat numbers, even I was on the first row on that cabin. They had completely caos , after tres hours they had not cleaned up from the food, and the crew from business class had to come and help them. There was no info , and the whole crew appeared like they was lost. after this horrible first 3 hours , they turned the heat up littlebit, lights down for about an hour and half , then full caffe service, but still no info and this time the air hostess spilled hot caffe in the lap of my neighbour seat. They ignored me again, I had to ask for a cup of tea. My second neighbour asked for water and got tea. So sad experience 🥲
We used to fly Emirates (pre-covid) all the time when living in Australia. Mostly Amsterdam - Dubai - Sydney. We were always very happy and thought Emirates was the best airline out there. Great staff, super good service, lots of drinks and snacks and entertainment. After choosing Emirates as our first flight with our now family of 4 (two small children) I cannot believe what has happened to the airline. The service was not good at all, we saw almost no-one at our 6,5 - and 17-hour flight. On our long leg from Dubai to Sydney we sat next to the pantry where as soon as we took off, it was if 10 liters of cold water was leaking from one of the below cupboards, the floor below my husband’s feet and seat was soaked. Food was mediocre, not very much drinks served, had to ask for water multiple times. They just didn’t care. When you used to go to the party of you wanted a snack in between, they had a bunch of chocolates etc. Now, nothing. First time flying with a 5 month old baby and 2,5 year old I had high hopes from emirates and staff, but was utterly disappointed. Seats seemed much smaller too. What has happened to emirates? Same prices, way worse quality. We flew to Sydney and back with them. Not for me in the future anymore, I’m afraid.
