Much better experience than before

Much better experience than before Christmas.I had previously reviewed at Christmas time as took many, many weeks to receive my online order (as with many others looking at reviews from that time).As the hectic Christmas season had passed, I decided to give Flying Tiger online another chance and received my order 9 days after ordering online (7 working days). Delivery is advertised as 5-10 working days, so this experience is very good.The order has come very well packed, the items themselves are very good, especially considering the low cost for the good quality items. The only issue in the past was delivery time, which was not an issue on this occasion.I'm very happy I gave Flying Tiger a second chance and had a positive experience this time.

Watercolour paint in tubes is unusable…

Watercolour paint in tubes is unusable after a few weeks of not being used as it solidifies. The lids are tightly fastened. This doesn't happen with other makes of paint I have.

O è stato perso o il corriere lo ha rubato.Ho contattato il servizio clienti che mi ha risposto "We received an update from Skynet that the package has been delivered and due to COVID-19, couriers do not have to ask for a signature upon delivery. Could you let us know if you were able to get in touch with Skynet to locate your parcel?Best regards, Plamena"

Run!

I am beyond disappointed, I order stuff WAY before Christmas- it took weeks to get here (which is fine I understand the busy season). My order was smashed and I couldn't use the majority of the products (again I fully get this isn't in their control) but I am over 3 weeks waiting on a response from the customer care team which I find completely unacceptable. RUN, do not use their online store. I am €50 down without the products I need.

If you can't make tech that works... don't sell it!

I think it's time to stop producing and selling products that don't work! We are in a climate crisis and I want a phone charger that works and lasts... not just to buy and immediately throw into the ever-growing landfill... Sort it out!

Avoid online orders, terrible customer service.

I ordered online thinking it would come from my local store a few miles away (I'm a wheelchair user who can't access the store in person due to it's layout). It wasn't until I received confirmation that I realised the items were coming from overseas. They still stated a 3-5 working day delivery so this seemed satisfactory. 5 weeks passed with very little customer service engagement, the responses I did get were jumbled, confused and sad to say it, lies. I was refunded not because of the suspected lost/delayed package but because my order hadn't had VAT added. It was all verrrry odd. Eventually my parcel arrived 3 days before Christmas, too late to give to the intended recipients, with an item missing completely and one badly damaged. Packaging was awful. I've not heard anything back from customer service since. Avoid avoid avoid all online purchases. If you're lucky enough to live near a store/are able-bodied and can manage to navigate between the massively packed aisles then happy purchasing. I don't think I'll ever be using them again.

We love Flying Tiger!

We made our first post-Covid visit to the Lincoln Store on an outing to the city. Bought a bag full of mainly paper items which were both attractive and attractively priced. In addition we bought the Walkie-Talkie Retro -£12 - to give to our granddaughter for Christmas. Oh dear what a disappointment! Talk button difficult to get to engage, sound quality poor and range questionable. The plastic moulding was crude. Everyone excited by the idea in anticipation. A toy, yes - did not have high expectations - but felt embarrassed to have given such a dud. First fail for Tiger in our experience. No point in returning them to either Lincoln or Nottingham stores as just the parking cost would make this a nonsense. Won't put us off Flying Tiger but recommend looking elsewhere for "techie items". If this one is still on sale avoid!
