We have all heard the commercials, "Homes.com is the Best." They are just the opposite! I was looking for some a large piece of land, 100 acres, in Puerto Rico. What their website provided was supposedly listing of 100 acres plus; notice I said supposedly. Someone doesn't know what an acre is! The listings where in fact meters squared. One of the listings for $800,000 for 3,652 Acres; sounds good until you start reading the rest of the ad. the ad clearly states "37-acre lot."If it was just 1 you'd just over look it as a typo, but of the 12 listings only 1 was close to acres but 1500 acres was way more then what I was looking for. Don't waste your time with Homes.com as there disclaimer says it all: "Disclaimer: Certain information contained herein is derived from information provided by parties other than Homes.com. All information provided is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed to be accurate and should be independently verified." There much are better sites.
