Review Time
I had a very poor experience in December when my family travelled from Stansted to Karachi. We had a connecting flight from Dubai to Karachi scheduled for 18/12/2025. However, the airline cancelled this flight before our departure from the UK on 13/12/2025, and we were never informed about the cancellation.
We only discovered this when we arrived in Dubai & on the day we were supposed to fly to Karachi (18/12/2025). Despite the airline confirming that the flight had been cancelled, the company still insisted that we go to Dubai Airport, which caused unnecessary inconvenience.
We were then told that we would only receive a partial refund and that we had to book new tickets ourselves. This meant we had to cover all the additional expenses, including accommodation in Dubai and purchasing new tickets at a very high price. As a result, we also missed an important wedding ceremony in Karachi, which was one of the main reasons for our trip.
The worst part is that we are still waiting for our partial refund. We were told that the airline would process the refund within 4β6 months.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not recommend purchasing any services from this company.

I was left stranded at Heathrow airport after being let down very badly by both TravelUp Travel Agency and Turkish Airlines on a very very minor technicality caused by using Travel Up web services and a simple lack of customer care for a regular customer. While standing at the terminal, feeling really sorry for myself, I received a marketing call from Haider at MyTripUk.com, enquiring whether I was looking to travel. This call was a heaven send for me at the time as you can imagine. The agent Haider took care of everything for me albeit at a high cost for an economy ticket (Β£1785) and booked me on the first flight out with Qatar Airlines the following morning. All the necessary bookings, confirmation, and luggage allowance was handled by Haider to perfection π. I was so grateful and would definitely recommend Haider from MyTripUk.com
This review reflects only my personal experience. I am sharing it so that other families can make informed decisions, and with the hope that it encourages the company to improve its services. I do not intend to defame the company or any individual.On 2nd July 2025, I had written a very positive review for this company. However, after my recent experience, I feel it is fair to update it.We are a family of six and were travelling for my brotherβs wedding. As this was our first time travelling from the UK, we wanted a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality. We were recommended Kuwait Airways by MyTrip UK, and were told it was the best deal available. Later, we learned that Kuwait Airways offers a 30% group discount for bookings of six or more passengers, something we were not informed about.We also made our strict travel dates very clear due to work and school commitments. A couple of weeks before our departure on 25th October, we were informed that our flight had been cancelled. This caused significant stress, especially since all our arrangements were already in place.Because this cancellation came from the airline, we expected a free replacement. However, the options given were unsuitable, including one that was on the same day as my brotherβs wedding. When we asked about alternatives, we were told that a refund would take 5β6 months. We ultimately had no choice but to pay a large fare difference to secure an earlier flight.Throughout the process, the agent often began by offering expensive options first and then suddenly presented a slightly cheaper option, adding that only a few seats remained and they could disappear at any time. This put us under pressure, and with the wedding date fixed, we felt cornered into paying extra.Unfortunately, a similar issue occurred on our return. On 10th November, while on the way to the airport, we checked our flight status and discovered it had been cancelledβyet we had received no communication from either MyTrip UK or Kuwait Airways. We later found out the agent had used their own email address when booking our tickets, so we never received any updates.When we contacted the agent, they initially appeared unaware of the cancellation and gave us conflicting information. We were told the next confirmed flight was on 17th November and that we were only βin queueβ for an earlier option, despite repeatedly explaining our commitments back in the UK. Again, we were told we would need to pay extra for an earlier flight. This time, we refused.Thankfully, when we checked directly with Kuwait Airways at their local office, the customer service team was extremely helpful and confirmed that our booking for 12th November was valid. They remained in contact with us until we travelled.I understand that flight cancellations are beyond any travel agencyβs control. However, accurate information, clear communication, and transparency are crucialβespecially for large families travelling with children. Unfortunately, our experience with this company caused unnecessary stress and unexpected expenses.Once again, this review is not intended to harm the company or any individual. I simply hope it encourages better communication and helps future travellers make well-informed decisions.
I bought a ticket from Istanbul to Montenegro on August 28th, 2025 with Turkish Airlines via MytripUk. My round flight was scheduled from November 9th -14th. On the 30th of October, Montenegro announced that Turkish Citizens will be needing a visa as of November and the opening dates for the embassy to get a visa would start in December 2025. All airlines going to Montenegro until December cancelled flights free of charge. I contacted My trip as soon as I heard this and asked for a refund. They put it in process and said they were waiting on Turkish Airlines for the refund. i have contacted them countless amounts of times and they have been holding my money for 3 months!!!! They keep saying TR Airlines has not refunded them back and thats why they arent able to refund me. I have written proof from Turkish Airlines that they have refunded my money on the 9th or November. A complete Scam!!!! Never again will I buy any tickets because they are cheaper from MYTRIPUK. Awful customer service, they are used to stealing peoples money and making them wait 3 months for a refund! My booking number is TIJQ5E and the order number is 1081-681-482. I demand a refund within 14 days or Im going to take legal action.
