Absolutely the worst of the worst

We purchased an internet plan and I told them that if it didnt work I'd cancel the plan. They said I had 14 days to do that. The service was terrible with the internet speed running at no more than 5GB. I cancelled the order within 14days which activated a call a day from NOS making all sorts of threats. Everytime they called us the cancellation fee would double and they threatened debt collectors. We tried to return the internet box they refused to take it because it had to be taken to a particular office, so we did that and they refused to take it as well. Telling us we needed to have a letter from NOS showing we had cancelled even though we had cancelled. We returned to the store numerous times trying to stop the harrasement. We got to the point that if we saw a NOS call we wouldnt answer the phone. Everytime they'd call we'd go and complain to the office to the point that we registered an official complaint. Not only did they harass us over the phone but they send us bogus bills via sms and email. This went on for 4 months before it ended. Whatever you do avoid NOS. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The service drops out every now and then. But hey that’s Portugal right? They overcharge you and don’t even provide you with detailed insight into what exactly you were charged for in your invoice (no detailed listing of calls etc) I made a contract as a company and even after proving that I’m not a company anymore they don’t cancel but keep Having you paying, don’t even switch it back to normal. Worst customer service - no reply to emails, people with no idea what they’re doing at the shops and constant ad calls to sell you more crap at any time of the day, even late. The people doing the ad calls- when you ask them if they speak English they just put down the phone!! For a year I have been receiving messages that were aimed at somebody else’s contract (reminders to pay bills)! I visited the shop several times to inform and please stop these messages sent to me. It took them one year/several visits! If you live in a place where ANY other company has coverage go for it! Nos is the worst in any perspective.

One of the worst companies in Portugal…

One of the worst companies in Portugal and that’s not difficult because Portugal in general as far as business and customer service is crap... can’t understand how the Portuguese themselves put up with it. They should be fined millions then they will maybe do a better job.

I am disgusted by the nos experience

I am disgusted by the nos experience, I bought a cheap phone on 14/9 2019 after my last one was stolen(cost 49.99) the said phone does not work and the salesman couldnt even work it, I asked for replacement and was refused I even offered to buy a new one an even more expensive one, again refused as he said it was working (liar) he tried his own sim card and it worked (temporarely) I said then try a new sim he once again "refused" I filled in complaints book but untill now heard nothing. They are the most disgusting company i have ever dealt with and the staff are rude and unhelpfull especially the guy at Marr shoping who goes by the name of Claudio.It is so frustrating when trying to find a solution when talking to someone so rude, not only to me but other potential customers. My advice to anyone is NOT to trust NOS as their custome service is non-existant, buy you goods somewhere else it will save you a lot of grief.(by the way I went to Vodaphone nxt door and service was great, I bought a new phone and everything was set up in 5mns, whatever you do do not buy an Alcatel mobile, A BIG MISTAKE, as was dealing with NOS never again!!!!!! fraudulent

I am bewildered how NOS is allowed to operate, their problem is capacity , apart from their random charging, which is an issue , selling a contract without the ability to supply capacity is an offence , they plainly do not have the capacity at the time of sale, So sell you something they don’t have and no one contracted to NOS gets a full internet service, speed slow, constant dropping out, this is a fraudulent act, anyone thought of a class action?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! Cancelled the contract because of poor service, 20 technician visits , 50 hours of our own personal time waiting at the house for technician visits booked but did not turn up and no courtesy call to say they were not coming on the days booked. 50 phone calls from us to Nos to get find out what was happening. Harassment and sales calls received on a daily basis, late phone calls until 9.30pm. Rude customer service !!!!

Nos is a fraudulent company that tries on many ways to steal from their clients.My Family and I have sent them a letter in the begining of October 2018 cancelling our services,we also have call them to ensure they knew to which they tried to talk us out of it which fair enough is their job,however we decided that there was no point on what they were proposing ,only to get a smaller package for roughly the same price so we told them we don't want anything from them.We cancelled the direct debit from the period the contract was finished.A month later we begin recieving a letter saying we haven't paid the last direct debit in December 2018,if we cancelled in the begining of October we shouldn't have to pay December correct?But we went on with it and paid it.A month later they sent us a letter stating that we did a new contract with them and we are failling to pay for it...WHAT????we wanted to get ride of that fraudulent company why would we want to go on a contract with them,now they had their lawyers involved to which I contacted my solicitor and he is sorting this mess out.Please be aware before you start any sort of contract with them,and before you cancel any services make sure you send the letter registered and avoid speaking with them on the phone as they will start a new contract with you without your knowledge, orelse you will find yourself being a victim of this company.Unfortnatley the authorities do not do anything regarding this matter as the money talks louder than people. Portugal will never be a fair country unfortnatley,if you know people you can go anywhere if you don't know the right person you go nowhere,is sad but true.

be careful!

i'm sorry to say this but telecom regulations in portugal are a sad joke. at least with meo and nos i've lost count of stupid problems and extra charge you get for random things - from extra services you did not request to (also unrequested) promo ad messages that clutter your inbox.and of course there's always an easy way to solve this: call their call-centers and enter a kafkaesque experience for a couple of hours until you manage to get it solved, only to learn after that you have been charged for the call (not cheap, for the usual portuguese wallet at least) and to wait a couple of days to discover that the problem has not been solved at all!what else to expect from from a limp regulator ANACOM that is serviced by the entities it's supposed to regulate? there's no conflict of interest at all!PS. never EVER subscribe a mobile internet service in portugal if you need it as your main access to the web and plan using it a lot as (at least until recently) all the "unlimited" plans have a 15GB limit on it. once reached, you'll be shoved into a 192Kbit/s connection until next month. yes, even with a "futuristic next gen" 200Mb/s contractual speed - that you'll never reach, by the way!and, of course, if you complain that you were never informed of such limit: it's not their fault, it's ANACOM's rules!!take caresome portuguese dude
