What a great experience I was apprehensive about boat buying but Pop Yachts made it so easy. There is no buying pressure just a great easy efficient stepwise process leading to quick closing. I can't say enough about the professionalism of Harley and Paul. They communicated well explained everything and always followed through .
Pop RV Review Looking for a used RV in good shape, we spotted a great one in our price range on RV.Trader.com. Further investigation showed this was listed through poprv, which we’d never heard of. I read reviews and noticed they fell into 2 categories; satisfied sellers and unsatisfied potential buyers. We fall into a 3rd category: satisfied buyer. We hesitated to go forward, but the RV really was great from what we could see in the over 200 photos and 6 minute video tour, we were just couldn’t stop thinking about it. So we reached out to Bill R. out of their Jacksonville, FL office. He was the sales broker, and he couldn’t have been nicer, more helpful or reassuring. Once we understood poprv is a middle man, between a seller who doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of meeting buyers, and a buyer who wants help finding the right rig, we decided there was no harm in looking closer. So my husband arranged for a walk through. Bill met him there and was punctual, no pressure, and no rush. He was able to see and touch everything, including making sure all systems from awnings to generator to leveling jacks were functional. The only thing he couldn’t do was road test it. We talked it over, I read more reviews and checked for any issues with getting deposits back if we decided not to buy after a road test and independent inspection. By this time we had arranged our financing, decided on the offer we felt good about, and identified an inspector. Bill represented us to the buyer, and our initial offer was accepted. We had no difficulty with the inspection process, and communication with Hannah, also from the Jacksonville office, regarding the sales process, including registration and title process. When our loan paperwork hit a snag, Hannah was right on top of getting everything required. We closed 3 days early, and were off for our first trip. Everything was as we expected and we are very happy with our purchase. We received the title less than 2 weeks later, and we’re able to register in our state. We’ve now been out on a few trips, including a month long cross country trip, and continue to be extremely pleased with our rig, the buying process through popsrv, and the price we paid was several thousand below the NADA guide for the year make and model we purchased. So we don’t feel the popsrv commission impacted the value of our rig at all. In summary, as with any major purchase, do your own due diligence. But don’t let the broker nature of the transaction scare you off if you find your rig is listed through popsrv.
Working with Pop Yachts start to finish has been a top shelf experience. Working with Tom & Lauren was a great experience. Both have been very gracious and knowledgeable. Excellent communicators. I never had to wonder or guess what was happening or what was next. I would definitely recommend Pop Yachts if you’re looking for a boat. It was a five-star experience across the board.
If you're selling a Boat or Motorhome and you don't use POP Yachts & POP RV you're missing out. This company is the absolute best. I listed my boat with them and within 7 weeks we had an acceptable offer and a week later we closed escrow. They handled everything and what I had to do was done electronically on-line. All the people I worked with were the utmost professional, they were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. If I ever sell my new boat, it will be through POP
