Review Time
This is my 4th child and we were eager to find out as soon as possible what the gender is. Sneak peak states that they are 99% accurate as early as 6 weeks. I took the snap test at 6 weeks and 2 days. I followed all of the instructions and made sure there was no male DNA contamination. I got my results the next day (as I paid for fast track) and they said I was having a girl. Fast forward to getting the NIPT done and we are definitely having a BOY. I truly believe that 6 weeks is just too early to accurately tell your gender. A lot of women don’t have enough fetal DNA floating around at that time. Clearly that is what happened with me. Save your money and get the NIPT testing done.
I got inconclusive results two times in a row. When I definitely did everything correct the second time. And instead of trying to make it right by sending a more affective test at no more cost they just refunded my money. It’s all good, i’m glad i got my money back for a test that doesn’t work but they could have tried harder to make a happy customer and didn’t. Will never recommend to anyone.
Awful. I’m having my 4th child with my 3rd I found out about sneak peak, got a test and they managed to loss my sample. Pregnant with my 4th first test came back inconclusive so they kindly sent me another and was the exact same! Don’t get your hopes up as you end up gutted specially when your organised a surprise gender reveal and scan to tell your other kids.
Don’t do it. First test, sample invalid. Had to wait to do a new one. Second test, came back it was a baby girl. I went weeks for thinking this, chose names, outfits etc. nope, went to my scan and it was a baby boy. I haven’t got my refund as I was focused on my baby. I just wanted to leave this review so others are aware.
Hlo, i have purchase the sneak peak test kit bt by mistake i write wrong barcode i have done 1 week before bt i did not recieve any mail am having too much tension help me
My experience with SneakPeek has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. From the very beginning, there were issues with their system confirming my kit activation, despite me receiving multiple confirmations on my end. This confusion persisted over weeks, during which I diligently followed up multiple times, only to be met with delayed responses and excuses. The customer care, led by JP apparently, claimed to be proactive in their communication, but in reality, it was anything but. It took multiple requests and significant effort on my part to finally get a response about my refund request. Even then, it was clear that they were more interested in defending their flawed processes than acknowledging their mistake and resolving the issue promptly. The lack of accountability and genuine care for customers' concerns is evident throughout my interactions. If you value your time and expect even a basic level of competence in customer service, I would strongly advise against using SneakPeek. This experience has left me thoroughly disappointed and regretful of ever choosing their service.
Ordered 2 test, the second one because the first did not turn up. Both test not turned up, emailed customer service they said they re sent one out, never received it and now trying to get my money back is hard work. So unless you want disappointment, I would stay away from this company!
Right up front, this is not a review about the accuracy, since I have returned the test. This is my overall experience with the company and what caused me to loose faith in the company/this process and return the test.First, the good part is that I really liked the snap collector. I have done lancets quite a few times for other at-home health tests and they’re very painful, I often can’t get enough blood, and my fingers are sore for days. The snap was difficult to press down, but otherwise I was shocked by how painless it was for me and how easy it was to collect the blood. Using the early DNA test as a way to detect gender was recommended by someone who has had accurate results with it. I was initially skeptical but after doing a cursory reading of a few articles, l decided to try one of the recommended ones and chose Sneakpeek.Problem 1 is that their mobile website is messed up. I tried to place the order multiple times, tried using the coupon you get when you first get to the page, etc. and it kept inexplicably failing or not having a place to enter a coupon. The same thing happened when I tried to fill out the return form. I think the error for both was that there was no captcha and so it would fail. When I went to a desktop, a captcha was shown that was not shown on mobile and I was able to order the test and later return it. When I went to return the test, I couldn’t use my address because it didn’t show “in the list” (an address auto fill) and so I selected a random address just so the form would go through. The reason I decided to return the test is because the more reviews and articles I read about this brand and this type of testing in general, the more that I knew there was no way I’d trust the results and so I might as well try to get my money back. There’s no way I’m going to send them a copy of my child’s birth certificate later if the result was wrong so an early refund it is. If most/all of the wrong results were that the test said a boy, when it was a girl, then I would’ve chalked it up to user error. But I was shocked at how many reviews had the opposite result as well. When I submitted the return, they replied with the shipping label and said something to the effect of, “Thousands of people use our product and the reviews only reflect a small portion of our customers.” But if you’re claiming 99% accuracy the wrong results should be significantly fewer or all skewed to clear user error. Other things that seemed weird about the company were small, but piled up. First, the “biohazard” bag that the sample goes in is just a little ziploc with a sticker. I’ve done quite a few at-home blood tests and they ALWAYS have a biohazard bag that is printed with the biohazard label and that seals completely when you close it. The address that the sample is returned to (and that the return is also returned to) doesn’t seem like an actual lab. I’m guessing they have their own “in house” lab but it still seems weird to me. When I’ve done blood tests in the past, the sample gets returned to a lab, not the company that I purchased the test from. When I looked up the address on Google maps, I couldn’t find the building it goes to. Other little things about their website seemed weird to me and made me think several times during the ordering process, “What if this is just a scam?” Ultimately, I knew I was going to doubt any result that I got and that I wouldn’t even want to tell people the result since I’d have no way of knowing if it was accurate. I dumped out my blood sample, cleaned the components of the kit to the best of my ability and sent it back. Remains to be seen if the refund makes it way to me or not.
The process was hard. The lancet does give a lot of blood, but I managed to do it, during the delivery process back, they took over 3 weeks and me following up with the email to give me my results. Results ended up wrong anyway. Only good thing is I didn’t waste my money as I got a refund when she was born, only wasted my time.
