The concept was founded by design duo Jonathan Sellwood and Jonathan Parkin, who combined their creative talent to curate a hand-picked selection of lighting, furniture and decorative home accessories from suppliers around the world.
The showroom is housed in a 17th century building and features an eclectic mix of styles, all embracing Barnbury’s love of colour.
Mid-century classic designs are shown alongside rare Chinese, Indian and Tibetan antiques and Barnbury is proud to work with international luxury lifestyle brands such as Cire Trudon, Dr Vranjes, Caspari and William Yeoward Crystal.
Displayed thoughout the showroom is a large collection of gifts to suit the most discerning recipient - glasses and barware, scented candles and diffusers, pure silk pocket squares and handmade poker sets.
There is also the exclusive Barnbury jewellery collection, produced by skilled artisans in Jaipur. Earrings, necklaces and bracelets in solid silver or gold plated. Many feature precious and semi-precious stones celebrated in their organic forms and all pieces are entirely crafted by hand making them unique.
An ever changing collection of art is on display throughout the showroom. Vintage lithographs by Matisse, Picasso and David Hockney are all available to purchase.
