We had a fantastic experience with CodeMentor. I'm a startup CTO and my offshore dev team was picking up a new language and framework to do some work that we have lined up. As a result, all of us are a little bit out of our depth. We put a request on CodeMentor and the offers for help came rolling in quickly. We found someone with a good amount of experience in the platform we were using and got some good advice. It's worth noting that the skill set seems to be primarily around debugging and issue resolution more than system architecture and high-level planning, but that may be just where our particular mentor comes from. I imagine, like upwork or any other site, your experience will vary greatly based on the freelancer you choose, so it's worth doing a little bit of due diligence in your selection. That said, I was impressed with the quality, speed, and value we received from CodeMentor. I will gladly be a repeat customer when/if we get stuck on anything in the future.
Codementor is a great way to learn how to code and to solve issues you're dealing with. As a relatively new programmer, I run into issues all the time that I can't fix myself. Sometimes I'm spending weeks trying to debug my code. When I work with codementor, these issues usually get solved in less than an hour. The mentors on this site are extremely experienced and they also teach me new things all the time and help me think about writing code more efficiently. The site has not only helped me build my current app but taught me how to become a much better programmer.
Warning Warning Warning!!!!! Do not use this site. I will explain what occurred. Interestingly enough, after beginning my programming journey. I decided, okay why not find a programming mentor, that can guide me. As I will explain, how that turned into a nightmare. During our initial session via zoom call, the quote-on-quote programming mentor asked if I could pause our session why I located the project I needed help with. So, that they would not charge me for time not used. Being as gullible as I was as a novice beginner programmer. I figured why that's nice of them why not. FALSE! After locating my file to opened I click to resume the session and watched and screen recorded as the time began to run again. Now here is where it becomes interesting ten minutes before the said session was supposed to end. Said "programming" professionally made it a point to ask let me remote in via zoom to show what I mean with the example or demonstration, for what they were trying to convey. As I reviewed the screen recording I made " Thank GOD! After watching the recorded session I notice when the instructor, or if we will call it that. Remotes in and the first thing they do is click the stop session button. Now, mind you. At this point having multiple monitors set up and focusing on the IDE imagine when I see the session has stopped. Then the "programmer" or should I say "scammer" says we have gone over the call by 70 mins. And when I asked how the session was paused she said and listen good: "I have no idea" so not only do we have a scammer, but also a pathological morally corrupt person working for an organization, that claims to be working in the best interest of mentor future programmers but the screening process for allowing any individual to portray themselves as being something. that they are not is mind-blowing! So in closing do not. I repeat do not use this site for ANY! guidance or mentorship from other programmers. In all honesty. You are better off taking the tutorial spin wheel on YouTube or Stackoverflow, or any other resource besides this.
I got scammed by the so called programmers who offer services outside of codementor, he had a zoom meeting with me and said codementor will receive 20% of the payment, so I agreed to do outside of codementor to get a cheaper rates, I tried to contact this scammer @sedlanmiloradd to no avail. He just ignore or blocked me. Be careful!imgur ref : VTJxx8t.png
Codementor is a wonderful platform providing a lot of opportunities to both freelancers and clients. The best thing about them is the support service which resolves the issue in few hours. I would highly recommend this to all. Thanks
