I've bought all of my deactivated weapons from Arundel Militaria. My experiences have always been positive. I'd say what sets them apart from other companies is their willingness to share information with you. I've called on occasions to enquire about an item and have subsequently learned more information about what I was intending to purchase and more. I've felt like having the conversations has enabled me to build a rapport and in return I've gained faith and trust which is important when buying historical items. Listings also provide useful descriptions, enabling you to make more informed decisions. Delivery has been swift and packaging has always been decent, protecting the items being delivered. I've purchased several militaria items now and it's my first place to check what's in stock when I'm interested in a deactivated gun. The only downside is there are often too many things I'd like to purchase which my bank account won't always allow me to get 😀. There are good people working at Arundel and they have my recommendation.
The German metal item with slidy-thing (made by an occupied Belgian factory in the 1940’s) was delivered swiftly and in better condition than described. The understanding chaps at Arundel knew I was unable to pay from the train I was on and held the item for me before others snapped it up. Customer service at its highest, with top quality items.
