The letters are amazing, but I do wish there was a little more guidance on which saga is best for different ages. My 10-year-old has a hard time with much of the vocabulary but he doesn’t seem too bothered as long as he can hear the audioversion.
The letters have great presentation and really feel like relics of the past. The writing is quite engaging and the element of a cohesive narrative is what drew me to this. It really captures the emotion of what it must have been like reporting during WWII.

I ordered the Chernobyl series for my daughter, but honestly, I’ve been reading the letters before she even gets to them. They’re incredibly detailed and emotional. She’s learning so much without even realizing it’s educational. Like some others have written, I do think whether they are appropriate for your kid depends on their reading level and familiarity with the topic.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew, and he hasn’t stopped talking about it! He loves the WWII saga and I’ve even caught him explaining historical events to his friends :') The sound effects on the audio version make it feel like you’re there. It’s such a brilliant idea! :)
