Excellent, for those who REALLY want to learn and Improve...I found the free downloads, just by following the Links...I'm sorry for these bad reviews, perhaps they just expect to become A FANTASTIC guitarist overnight!... As for the comments about "Spam" emails...just click on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the e-mail! These lessons are well prepared with the majority having downloadable PDF and Backing tracks...All the teachers are professional musicians with great pedigrees...the GMM Facebook community has over 56,000 members and help with any questions you may have..with the VIP club you get 4 live sessions per month amongst so many other bonuses. I have been a member since October 2022 and, at the age of 68, my knowledge and overall guitar-playing skills are increasing daily...thank you, Charlie, Eddie, Jeavon, and all the support team. - these are the best lessons out there.
So far so good. Signed up for 101 course and it's exactly what I'd anticipated. Everything is broken down into the basics (some of it very basic, but a lot of stuff that isn't). And then there's the exercises. There's a set of exercises to repeat every day for 30 days... So far I'm about 14 days in having done about 6 days (life gets in way) but determined to crack on. I'd definitely say it's a bit trickier than for complete novices but so far so good.
True to their word, I got a full refund.Signed up to GMM just before Christmas with the intention of doing their courses and getting back into guitar. Unfortunately life just got in the way, as it always does and I didn't have any time to go through their materials.I asked to cancel and despite a brief attempt to upsell me to their VIP service (which I politely declined and reaffirmed my request to cancel) they instantly processed my refund, no questions, no argument. One thing I will criticise GMM on is their HARD SELL method, everything is an upsell, add-on, value add, buy this, spend that, hey look over here there's something else, buy our VIP, hey have you heard about our VIP?! Why not become a VIP! etc. and it's really off putting. Like, REALLY off putting and the daily emails! I must have gotten about 10 e-mails in the first 24 hours. It's a really hard sell strategy and I personally didn't appreciate it, but I unsubscribed to the e-mails and they did indeed stop.But I will say their course material that I saw looks fairly well produced and user friendly, I just sadly didn't have the time or inclination to get into it right now.
Just another marketing sales pitch. They offer free stuff then once they get your credit card details they deduct money without authorisation. Do not trust them with card details. Lots of hidden things in the way they sell. You pay the freight for a free 10 min CD. This was not even worth the half the freight costs. Like anything, time, practice and commitment will make you better at anything. You will get 10 emails everyday even when you ignore them
I didn't care for the way they co you into spending more money also they are not teachers I have since found a really good online course now these guys beg you to stay offering stuff they can't deliver on every day I contact them they put me off saying that just a few bad reviews isn't anything I can't find any good ones.
If you want multiple emails a day, and to try to be ‘lead’ into paying $27 a month this is for you I’m sure there is some great content, but no ‘support tickets’ get replied to, and this seems just an endless way to try and sucker you into a monthly payment planThe one thing I did pay for, they took the money and then advised the order hadn’t gone through and to pay again Not for me
I feel Charlie and the crew do an awesome job. There are many ways to teach/show people how to do everything. I HAVE BENIFITTED HUGE by taking their courses ! I have been playing for 30 years on and off. I can be an awesome parrot, I can learn songs from tab. Play the solo's and and rhythm. Coming up with my own licks and chops was a little difficult, until I joined Guitar mastery method. I feel this site is better than most. I have tried a couple others and felt this was the best for me. I highly recommend this site for the very beginner. I feel that you can't go wrong with these guys.
The guys are not teachers, and if you need a "teacher", you are in the wrong place. But if you get their online videos, and the source material that goes with them, you will have a baseline that you can use to learn or improve your craft. Note of caution: If you are a novice, or a raw beginner, this course is not for you. They are all excellent guitarist, and can really shred, but as I said in the beginning, they are NOT "teachers". I do believe that they are too expensive for a beginner but if you are a player already, you can benefit. I wasted a lot of money trying their "method", but couldn't really keep up. That's on me. It was a bad choice for "me", a novice beginner. I like my "Fender Play courses a lot better.
First they're not all that bad BUT DON'T FALL IT! They have all this equipment, guitars, and BS storyline about what a great success he is.
