Our purchase was handled by Lisa Wilson and her team (Fiona and Clair) and we could not be more grateful for the work they've done - we felt looked after every step of the way. We instructed Levi Solicitors to help us with my husband's immigration case. We were quoted a price of between £4.5k and £6.2k which already seemed extortionate but we decided that it was worth it to be together. However, 10 days before the application was due in we were asked for another £3,600 and 5 days later we were told we had to pay another £3,600 so in total we paid almost £14k. Yes, we got the result we wanted but at a price I still have trouble not crying over. If we had been told at the outset that we would have to pay anything near that amount, we would not have bothered, we'd have found some other solution. The lawyer later apologised for charging us so much but hasn't offered us a refund. I would only recommend them to the very rich!
The buyers of my property were using this solicitors and dragged the process out way longer than necessary with little to no correspondence to the estate agents and my own solicitors. This should have been a textbook sale with no chain either end. Wouldn’t recommend

Very poor communication and ignorance from my case holder. I had almost zero updates and replies for my queries and even now I'm still awaiting for reply on my email that I sent them 9weeks ago. Scandal and awfulness in terms of customer care and service. I would only recommend Levi Solicitors to people that i don't like. Avoid.
Positive experience. Used them based on recommendation from an estate agent. They were professional, communicative and their portal keeps you appraised all the way of where you are through the process. I used them for a sale, but would have no hesitation in using them for any conveyancing.They dealt with the seller's conveyancers, who were not very good, and kept me informed all the way through. Sometimes a bit difficult to get hold of immediately, but they would ring back within a few hours.
