My son had 1 year of foundation Maths, and English tuition for GCSEs with the National Learning Group. He is very practically minded and did not enjoy studying. He had a real mental block in Maths, and struggled with writing in any depth for English, although was able to verbalise answers more easily. English was delivered by Jacob Berry. He had two tutors over the year for Maths; firstly Fatima Aljuboori, and latterly Kareem Abughazza. He developed confidence and skills from the NLG tuition, achieving a grade 4 in Foundation Maths (170 from a grade boundary of 175), and a grade 5 in both English Language and English literature. He also achieved a grade 7 in History, up from his predicted Grade 6, and a 5-5 in Foundation Combined Science from the predicted 5-4. I am certain that his extra tuition with NLG helped him develop study skills in these other subjects, improving his GCSE results overall. All of which sets him up to progress in his application to join the Royal Navy. I would definitely recommend NLG.
Just like to leave this review NLG as a company are great they answer all your questions and communicate well.My daughter had failed her GCSE Exam twice so I decided to try NLG we were assigned our tutor Shweta Khot from the very first lesson Shweta picked my daughter up you could see her confidence grow week by week she taught her more in 4 month than school had learned her in 5 years. Shweta is an absolute credit to your organisation pleased to say Ruby as passed her GCSE and can now progress through collage Thank you Shweta
Ismail was a great fit for my son as he was patient, helpful and was able to give him the knowledge and confidence he needed to get a 4 in GCSE Maths (Foundation). I cannot thank my Grandson's two tutors enough for what they did for him during the months leading up to his GCSE exams in Maths and English. Both Mariam Riaz, English Tutor and Tayyaba Hussain, Maths Tutor, certainly helped improve his grades through their professionalism, expertise, calming nature and good relationships with him. They made every session enriching and enjoyable, and he often commented on the substantial amount he was learning in comparison to his school experience. NLG are very efficient, with great customer service and I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much.
I used this companies service for 5 months as we were homeschooling. My daughter loved her tutor, Harjeet Jandu, and never had any issues with communicating with her. She was good at emailing me reviews of my daughter’s work and got my daughter focused and engaged. I have had issues with the company taking money where they shouldn’t have which has resulted in me blocking them from taking any money out in the future which is why I’ve had to put two stars down.Thank you so much though Harjeet, it’s been a pleasure.
we started using NLG earlier to this as we wanted to our daughter to build confidence in maths, ahead of year 4. We were assigned Alisha Naroon as a tutor and have been extremely happy with the progress our daughter has made so far. Alisha has been patient, engaging and explained very clearly. Would def recommend!
We are absolutely satisfied about David's tutor Katherine Threadgold she's doing with passion her lesson,always teaching with enthusiasm, my son he's very happy how every lesson is structured and how she's helping with as sometimes he my be distracted but Katherine give a time or opinions to engage and focus straightaway !!For us she's the best 💯 👌🏻 David love her lesson ❤️!
