It later became clear that my personal details, which I thought were only for enrollment, were used to open a third-party credit line amounting to $8,399.39, complete with a hard inquiry that was not adequately explained. I initially believed I was directly engaging with the service for payments. I only discovered the loan when I attempted to cancel a couple of weeks later, after realizing the program demanded significantly more time and technical know-how than advertised. After filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities, the lender closed the loan account and ceased servicing it. The service, however, still refused to cancel without retaining a substantial portion of the funds. I strongly advise thoroughly reviewing all information and refraining from signing anything during a live interaction.
