End of my journey....
I had my LTPs fitted 2 weeks ago now and all I can say is wow. They are so comfy. I loved my deprogrammers but the LTPs are alot less bulky and slimmer.
I sat on the fence for over a year just reading everyone's stories on this amazing Facebook group. On father's day this year I was so fed up with the constant pain and also how my teeth looked. I was fed up of not being able to bite my food and having to break everything up. Constantly chewing on just on side in case my crowns fell out. I sent a WhatsApp message to 21D: Exclusively Full Jaw Implant Solutions on the 15th June. I didnt think they would get back to me being that it was a Sunday afternoon. I was shocked that within 10 minutes I had a reply asking me lots of questions. I was then asked to send some photos of my teeth and mouth ( I didnt like seeing photos of my terrible teeth), but they needed to be sent. I was then invited to FCA ( full clinical assessment) on the 25.06.25. @ Bristol. I was a nervous wreck leading up to this appointment. I was met at the Bristol clinic by the lovely Kelly, who took me to my own private room. Dr Kareem did my assessment with the lovely nurse Izabela. They were both so kind and caring and made me feel very relaxed. Dr Kareem gave me the good news that i was able to have the surgical reset, i then burst into tears with relief and emotion. Fast forward to 03.09.25 surgicial reset day. My husband and I had travelled up to Warrington from Devon on 02.09.25 and stayed in the village hotel for 2 nights all arranged by the lovely Claudia and Sophie. On the day of surgery I was so anxious and nervous. The minute I walked into the building I was met by Heather who gave me a massive hug and assured me I was going to be okay. We were taken into a lovely private room. Dr Jason came to see me and talk me through the whole process. Dr Jason and his team of nurses Beth and Daralis are the most professional, caring and kindest people, they really look after you and encourage you. They are purple angels without the wings. Dr Anna was also present during my surgery and she was also amazing. 2 hours later it was all over and I was back in my private room eating icecream. I was on a liquid diet for 6 weeks after surgery. I had my DC ( Data Capture) on 15.10.25 back at Bristol with the lovely Dr Mariana and nurse Izabela again. I was told all implants were good and I could.go on a soft diet. 27.10.25 was my LTP fitting day back at Bristol with Dr Mariana and Izabela again. Every single person I have been in contact with at 21d have been amazing. Rajesh Vijay every member of your staff that I have had the pleasure to meet throughout my journey have been amazing. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for giving me my life back. I am now a non smoker, healthier and happier. I can now have my photo taken and not hide anymore. Anyone sitting on the fence.... please make that call believe me you will not regret this.💜❤️🩹💜
