Amateur hour from start to finish. Did the Carlingford 10K at the weekend. Registration back in November was a joke. Delays on opening for registration, no information provided, site crashing - repeated several times. Total confusion for people concerning bib postage and bib collection. No information. Last minute mails about possibilities to collect bibs day before/day of the event. Half hour delay on race start, at least it was sunny. Insufficient signage meant probably 90% of the 10K runners went the wrong way but at least had a nice run through the village and out the Greenore road. Had considered doing some other races in the Mournes organized by 26extreme but no way. And these guys have been organizing races for years...Mamma mia ( If you look at their website at the time of writing, 2 days after the event, you'll find tickets for the event 2 days ago are selling fast and only 317 left - world class)
