Decided to purchase a 3D printer from 3dprintersbay since they were one of the only sellers who claimed to have the model I wanted to test in an EU warehouse. Some days after I placed my order I received a mail stating that my goods had been handed over to the courier and were on their way to me - a tracking code was supplied. Then I waited and lo and behold - a few days later the tracking code said that the parcel had been delivered to someone in Germany. I live in Denmark, so either 3Dprintersbay shipped the printer to the wrong person, or they gave me the wrong tracking code. It could be a honest mistake, so I tried to contact 3Dprintersbay by phone and using their contact form. No luck. Then I opened a support ticket using the support section on their side. No response. Then I opted for contacting them through PayPal, and escalating this contact to a claim. I have seen 3Dprintersbay state to an other buyer here on Trustpilot that they are an official PayPal partner and they "have been privileged to go through PayPal claims between you and sellers and review the case. PayPal will decide after we review the case and give an approval based upon our decision". Well, in this case 3Dprintersbay used their privilege to ignore the claim which resulted in PayPal giving me a full refund two weeks after I opened the case. In conclusion: A complete waste of time. I'm happy that I had only placed an order for a printer I wanted to test out for the sake of seeing if I should buy several later. Now I'll buy the printer elsewhere, and I hope that other people will think twice before placing an order with 3Dprintersbay. Happy printing to everyone who reads this!Update 2 days later:Not long after I placed my review of my experience with 3dprintersbay here on Trustpilot I got a mail from them asking me to remove my review. I was sleeping at the time so I didn’t reply. A few hours later they asked me to remove my review again. Then another mail offering me to buy the printer I had ordered at a discount and after that one offering me a cash payment if I deleted the review. Around this time I woke up and was surprised at seeing so many mails from them since it was the first replies from 3dprintersbay I had gotten. I replied the following:---Greetings, thank you for your reply! While I do understand that there may have been some misunderstanding between you and Creality, I do think it would be good form to at least reply to either the support ticket or contact form mail with a fast ‘we are looking into it’. That Creality ignores a PayPal or credit card claim leading to a chargeback I honestly do not understand, as they should want to be on good terms with their payment service provider, but I do not know how they run their business. That said, as I wrote in the review I read that you are an official PayPal partner and that you monitor PayPal cases… never did I see any activity on the claim (apart from my own actions). With this in mind I do think my review is quite accurate.I have not gotten around to ordering the printer elsewhere, and I do not mind adjusting the current review or posting a positive one instead if the matter is solved to my satisfaction – that said, I will not be doing that without seeing anything happening, as reviews need to be truthful, and right now the matter has not been solved to my satisfaction: All I have seen happen so far is that I’ve been given a tracking number for something that got delivered to someone in a different country, and then lots of waiting for nothing, which does not fill me with much optimism.Regards, Lasse---I do think that it is fair to give them a chance to fix the issue, and had they at least focused on solving the problem I had raised then they could have gotten a more positive review with perhaps 3-4 stars for taking steps to avoid the problem happening to other customers, because even though I was doubtful, it could in theory have been a technical issue they were not aware of. They replied that they will give me the discount offered earlier if I deleted the review. At this point it was obvious that the problem that was being solved was that I had written a review. So now I’m updating my review so that it is the 3dprintersbay review I wish I had read before I placed an order with them. If I had been someone who had been saving for my first printer for some time or who needed it for a gift then this would have been a bigger issue for me, but regardless, this is just not ok. Now I see that 3dprintersbay has replied to my review here on Trustpilot, I repost here in case the reply is deleted:---Dear Lasse, After an investigation this issue with Creality, they informed us that address given by your order was incorrect, hence package returned to their Germany Warehouse. They've been trying to contact you via email but never heard back from you. As it reaches the PayPal dispute end period, they eventually left it for a full refund and cancelled the order.--- Since I have the order confirmation from 3dprintersbay I have proof that they had the correct address, phone number and email, so their reply is outright untrue.See, now the only really interesting question is ‘is this review slander’? And the answer is no – and I have screenshots and pdf-prints of everything – and this documentation can be provided to Trustpilot should they want to see it. Trustpilot, please ask for them :)Best of luck to everyone who reads this (but do find another shop to buy your 3d printers from, unless you want to waste your time)!A new update to celebrate a new comment from 3dprintersbay:---Yes Lassee They told me (Monda creality Rep) Address region is incorrect . It is not Copenhagen region indeed it is København. We have order invoice has wrong region and city name. We are happy to provide the same to Trustpilot---I do understand that 3dprintersbay prefers to shift the focus from them not replying to customers and trying to pay to have reviews removed, and on to claiming they got the wrong address, however just to point out their folly: 'Copenhagen, Denmark' and 'København, Denmark' are both names for the capital of Denmark, and it is not a small city in Germany ;)But yes, by all means report the review to have Trustpilot review the facts... I hope you are aware that Trustpilot was founded in Denmark, so I suspect they have someone on hand who knows our capital ;) Do please note that Trustpilot does not allow reviewers to report their own review, so 3dprintersbay (or somebody else) has to do that for me.Have fun everybody!
