The fundraiser went well, although some people reported payment issues. 4fund customer services were great, checked and advised that it might be a problem on the bank side and give me some pointers. Then when the time for withdrawal came, the process was confusing and full of unnecesary delays. First we had to validate my account, which was pretty straighforward process, although a bit time-consuming. I contacted customer service again, and they confirmed it had been done and manually approved funds for withdrawal. I performed withdrawal as per instructions on the site and then the money just dissapeared from my account and there was no info what is going to happen then. Customer service advised me it's being processed and it should reach my account withing two working days, maybe even today! As time was of essence I was monitoring this closely and when at the end of second working day the cash was still not in, I wrote to customer service again. Only then I got automatic confirmation for the account validation process and soon, information that "the process of money withdrawal has been started and it should be in my account within one working day". So basically the info I was given that the money will be in my account in max two days was not right - they took two days just to release the money for it. I am taking one star off for this. As the money still failed to arrive 24 h later, I again contacted customer service. And the cash hit my account literally 5 minutes later. Of course I have no proof, but since the company's income is based on how long they can keep our money, I assume they try to keep the funds for as long as possible, and only performed next steps after being poked by me. I take another star off for this. Last but not least, during the whole process I was spammed with request to give them a review. So now, after I finally received my funds, I am doing just that. But taking yet another star for all this spam :) In conclusion: yes, the page can be trusted and is a good platform for conducting your fundraiser. It is also understandable that they have operating costs and might want to delay parting with funds for as long as possible. But they should be more transparent about what is the realistic timescale here.
