It's a very straightforward funding platform. I chose this to be able to share updates as well, and so that donators can decide for themselves how much to donate to the platform. The only thing that I miss is the ability to share individual updates with people, as it now shows up as one big block of content on the project page. When you post an update, they only get an email saying that the project has put an update. So you don't know if anyone actually receives the mail and reads the update. I have not heard from anybody that read the updates so I had to contact everyone separately. For the rest, very good. Payment was straightforward as well.
