I recently completed an intensive driving course with 5 Day. My instructor was excellent, and the lessons were straightforward, but the overall experience with the company was disappointing.
The lack of communication and concern for my success was very apparent, and it often felt like I was just a number in their system. While the sales team was friendly and helpful before booking, the support during the actual course and the test was severely lacking.
A key issue arose with my theory test. My lesson ended at 2:30 PM, while my theory test was scheduled for 3 PM. The test center was over 40 minutes away, and when I raised this with the office, they were unhelpful and basically told me to handle it myself. This forced me to cut my lesson short by an hour.
Additionally, the postcode provided for the test center was incorrect, leaving me lost and causing me to arrive late, which put me at a disadvantage for my test.
In summary, while the lessons and instructor were good, the overall experience with 5 Day was frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend the course if you need reliable support and guidance.
