I am very disappointed with the practices of this service. Naturally, many parents, including myself, choose the before-Christmas option to ensure timely delivery. However, during checkout, they also presented an additional plush at a discounted price with "free shipping." I accepted and paid the invoice. Only afterward did I realize that the shipping method had been altered to "after Christmas," which completely contradicts our initial choice. When we contacted the support team to resolve what was clearly an issue that arose during checkout, we received nothing but a generic response stating that shipping methods cannot be changed after checkout. There was no acknowledgment of the situation, no willingness to assist, and no solution offered. Furthermore, it is essential for other customers to understand that U.S. law permits sellers to enforce a strict no-refund policy on digital or downloadable items. Considering this, the fact that this service bundles a digital key for a trivial in-game item with every plush seems very intentional. It appears to be a convenient way to ensure that purchases fall under their “no-refund or very limited refund” policy. In summary: Do yourself and your children a favor and steer clear of these overpriced (and likely low-value) products. The marketing may be appealing, but the customer experience is lacking.
