My first experience with 9D Breathwork was just amazing, honestly. And I still find it really hard to put into words.I’m always in awe of the facilitators, because the way they run the sessions just makes you feel really supported from the start. They introduce it properly, let you know what to expect, and then they hold the space for you the whole way through. You never feel alone in it. And when things do start to get more intense, or emotions come up, they’re right there supporting you through it.I cried during the journey. I cried a lot. I felt like I let go of so much. I thought about a lot too, and things came up that I didn’t even realise were still sitting somewhere in my head. As the journey kind of gets into the middle, there was a lot of emotion for me.And the audio you listen too… you’re just fully immersed in it. It’s really hard to explain, but you’re so in the space, which is great for me as I find myself getting distracted if I try to meditate or do other types of breathwork, and I honestly feels like there’s nothing else that would allow me to go through that process in the same way.What I really love is that it doesn’t just get intense and emotional and then end. It brings you back around into integration. By the end, I always feel really grateful. I had these really beautiful visions of my life, things I’ve achieved, things I’m grateful for, things I want to work towards, and the person I want to be. It felt like this reassurance, like… this is who I am underneath everything else, underneath all the chaos and emotions I carry. I come out feeling so much lighter.I’ve spoken about 9D Breathwork for so long, and I finally got my mum to try it and the one thing she said straight after was that her chest just felt lighter. You can actually see the difference physically after a session, which is kind of wild.There’s also always such a nice space to share at the end. I do smaller journeys on the app in my own time too, but I do really love coming back for the in-person sessions and the bigger journeys. It’s definitely something I’ll keep in my life.I actually thought after the first session that the next ones wouldn’t be as powerful, but they are. Every journey feels different and supports something different in my life. And I’ve realised the more I do it, the more I’m learning how to breathe properly and get into a rhythm, and that just takes me deeper into the experience every time.It’s one of those things I can’t fully explain. I just say you have to try it. Every time I do a journey, it gives me what I need. Sometimes I cry, sometimes it’s really emotional, and other times it’s just calming and helps take away the little stresses in my life and bring me back to myself and what I’m grateful for.
