I am a caregiver and I also have a rare disease called Homocystinuria. It is related to PKU. I have been filming cooking videos for the past 4 years on my YouTube channel Rare_Chef. I have a podcast called Rare Connection. Many of my friends are on multiple diets, so I started a Facebook group called The Adaptive Kitchen for those on multiple diets. I am also in a clinical trial for my medial condition, and the nurses have recommended that I start a cookbook. My cooking is all self taught. I was looking for somehting that didn't cost an arm and a leg can to get some professional experience. This certification was being offered free. I csb see it working, for several of my friends, but whether they can afford to pay what the program suggests is something I will have to find out. I have always worked for someone else. I have never run my own business.
