The primary issue is the teaching approach, which resembles that of many poorly run institutions. It's primarily about stating facts and memorization without any real application or deeper understanding. As someone who learns at a slower pace, I found no significant difference from using various free resources on my own. I only lasted two weeks, and each day felt like an overwhelming influx of information to memorize. The additional resources were subpar as well; the virtual labs were slow and poorly designed, and most content was just video-based. So, I question how this experience was more valuable than studying independently with free materials. At least the staff was friendly.
Engaging videos to help me learn Python programming and other computer proficiency software. I especially like the virtual labs that help me practice the information from the lessons. Love that everything is self-paced, with an easy user interface.
ACI Learning has a pleasant, intuitive environment for the content. It is very important to quickly find the course you need. They also have a lot of good tools to help you the way you want to study. If you don't have the possibility to watch a video, you can also listen to the video in the podcast mode. Also had contact with the customer support for a minor issue via the chat. The employee was friendly and came up with a solving solution.
The best thing I can say about ACI Learning is that its a joke. When I complete a course, the website does not automatically print out a certificate, we have to take a screen shot of the 100% completion percentage and email it to the company rep and they will reply with the cert in a couple days. I also don't get any indicators of modules completed within a course; if a course has 17 modules, you have to remember what modules you completed so you don't go over them again. The re mentioned they are aware of the issue and working on a fix but its been months with no change. I would not recommend this training site and I am actively working to get my company to pick another site in the future.
