I HAD PURCHASED A TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM ACKO. MY CHECKED IN BAGGAGE WAS DELAYED BY 3 DAYS AND I HAD CLAIMED FOR DELAY IN CHECKED IN BAGGAGE. AS PER THE POLICY LETTER SHARED WITH ME IT WAS JUST MENTIONED THAT " WE REIMBURSE UPTO RS 5000 FOR DELAY BEYOND FOUR HOURS'. ONCE I INITIATED THE CLAIM THEY ASKED NUMEROUS DOCUMENTS AND WERE HELL BEND TO UPLOAD AN EXPENSE INVOICE. LATER THEY REJECTED THE CLAIM STATING THAT GST NUMBER OF THE BILL DOESNT MATCHES WITH THE LINE OF BUSINESS. HOW WOULD A CUSTOMER CHECK THAT THE GST NUMBER ON THE BILL RECEIVED IS REGISTERED UNDER WHICH BUSINESS. MY SUGGESTION IS AVOID ACKO.
