I have a Car Insurance Policy with ACKO General Insurance. This policy got expired on April 2024. Unfortunately, there was no intimation on the expiry date and no follow up done nor any mail sent to me before the expiry from your end to renew the policy.Hence, I lost track and it was not renewed.Since, we had lapsed 90 days after expiry I lost NCB of 50% and now had to renew it by paying 19K extra premium. One single phone call if they had reminded I could have saved addln. 19K.Acko has a very good App and good marketing. But after 1st sale they don't bother to inform you about the expiry too. Claim process is also very bad. Don't buy becoz of their Ad. Better to go with nationalized companies.
