My Car met with an accident and I called ACKO after receiving the CSR certificate 2 days Later. They sent a Surveyor on 3rd Day and surveyed the vehicle and the call center asked whether I had a preferred workshop or they could do in their garage. I told them I give it regularly at a Garage and I can send it there. They asked me to give the Garage Manager's number once dropped and estimation is available from the garage.After the estimation is provided, Acko wanted to do additional investigation with one more surveyor now and started to delay the approval to start work. Meanwhile, after several days I contacted them for the voucher and they told that as the vehicle is serviced in your preferred garage the voucher is not applicable. Something the Acko people never informed me when they asked me for preference plus they kept delaying as they don't have any impact on delays in completing works.Even in acko policy printout this cannot be found as there is a ** which goes to below line which says "**Cab vouchers available in the cities mentioned above. Please refer the Terms & Conditions for more details". Terms and condition have these tricky lines.I feel it was a very tricky plot in the insurance policy document and SOP given to the call center agents to trap the customer to send it to their garage and deny cab vouchers though they delay it from their end.TO AVOID - Tell Acko to take which ever garage they have tied up with and give the car back in good condition and get your vouchers. Dont fall trap to the policy and call center person.
