2nd July 2023: I had venetian blinds installed by ACME in November 2021. I was promised 2 free blinds; I still await those. There were issues with the installation that the ACME agent said he would have fixed. These are still not fixed. There were also issues with the installation that the ACME agent denied were installation related. We failed to agree on those. I sent emails and a registered letter to ACME head office in Cork. They never responded. However, after they received the registered letter, the Head of Retail Operations and Marketing in ACME head office was copied in on correspondence with the agent. Today, 2nd July 2023, I went to raise one of the blinds and it fell down on top of me. I was lucky not to sustain a head injury. Not only does this company make promises it does not keep it does shoddy DANGEROUS installation work.
