I use both the Quick Release Clamps and the Locking Lever Clamps. The Quick Release Clamp features a large rubberized knob extending from the clamp body, making it much easier and faster to tighten or release. In terms of speed, it can easily rival a lever clamp. The Locking Lever Clamp, on the other hand, is field-adjustable by hand to accommodate different plate sizes and includes a lock to prevent accidental release.Both designs provide a fast, secure attachment for equipment, eliminating concerns about under-tightening or struggling to achieve a solid hold. I have both types mounted to 3/8”-16 Arca-Style Plates (#2129) for use on heads where the clamps cannot be replaced or where proprietary plates are required.
