I'm trying to use this for the efile function. I have 19 total 1099s to submit and adams tax has eaten up at least 30hrs of my time so far & I am NOT even done. I've only gotten it to accept 14 filing entries so far & I have not even submitted them so I don't know if their system even works. This site absolutely does not function anymore. They're incredibly unclear about how users now, apparently, have to set up 2 separate logins: one for adams tax forms & one for adams tax forms helper & when you try to get assistance from tech support, they are apparently clueless about this. I finally figured it out on my own. Additionally, trying to actually USE the "helper" is almost impossible. It is incredibly slow to actually load each screen (like 90s dial up slow) & times out more often than not, then will show that everything you've input is an error at first, then will update itself after several seconds to show that your inputs are actually fine, and about 90% of the time WILL NOT TAKE ANY INPUT INTO THE AMOUNT FIELD, where you show what you've paid a vendor. Sometimes you can get it to work but more often than not it's a 30 min struggle FOR EACH ENTRY to get it to take an amount. More often than not I have to just give up & come back later because it absolutely will not work. Tech support is useless - they do not read my descriptions of the problems I'm encountering, they do not know anything about their system, & today it will not even let me reach anyone in support - it simply offers me the option to click the sad/meh/happy face to show whether my issue was solved, but it will not offer to connect me to anyone in support. I will NOT use this service next year & I may have to give up for this year IF I can find any forms. I'd rather order forms from the IRS, HAND WRITE EACH ONE (I'd actually print them but I'm simply trying to illustrate that hand writing everything would be faster), and spend time stuffing envelopes and mail them rather than wasting 30 hours to date on trying to use this site. It is non-functional. I'd literally have saved so many hours doing everything the way I had to do it in the 90s than use this service. I'd rather pay QBO's extraordinarily high prices than use this site, even though QBO has some flexibiity issues. But NOTHING like this. This service is a huge time waster. It will eat your life during one of the busiest times of the year for those of us in accounting. If I could rate it 0 out of 100, I would do so.
