Purchase of two single beds from this company was probably one of the worst mistakes we have ever made in life! One bed has had no issues (although my wife uses this one and she is too afraid to use its functions in case it breaks) but in the two year warranty period we had 5 visits from 'technicians' (each time a different person) to try and sort out the faults with the other bed. Each time we were offerred a different 'cure' for the fault. The bed has a vibration function as well as head and foot lifting. From day one the mattress slid sideways off the frame overnight (now corrected by fitting brackets which make it difficult to turn the mattress). The 'clunking' noises made by the frame when moving in bed have finally stopped after tightening numerous bolts underneath. At one point we were told we had broken the frame by sitting on the side of the bed!) However I cannot use the vibration function as the bed feels like it is shaking itself apart. In fact I don't even use the lifting option any more because I am too afraid it will break again. The call out fee to look at a fault is just under £200 with a further charge after 20 minutes for each further 20 minutes. Whilst Adjustamatic do offer an extended warranty it was over £30 a month, not something we could afford. Further points are, the weight of the mattress makes it very difficult to turn, and the salesman promised we would get a visit after two years, this didn't happen. Much was made of a '20 year warranty' but it turns out this was only the mattress, not the electrics, frame or mechanics. So I have a bed that cost £4,500 which is no better than the £350 bed it replaced!
