I am writing this review on behalf of my father, who purchased a sofa, reclining chair, and reclining bed from your company three years ago. Unfortunately, his recent experiences have been quite disappointing and have prompted me to share our concerns.A few weeks ago, we noticed that the screws underneath the reclining chair started coming loose. My father reached out to customer service and was quoted £198 just for someone to come take a look at it, with additional charges for any necessary repairs. Naturally, he declined this offer, finding it unreasonable.More recently, the remote control for the reclining chair stopped functioning. We thought perhaps you would be able to help with this matter, but we were met with another £198 call-out fee followed by £50 for every 15 minutes spent on the repair, plus the cost of any parts needed. This pricing structure seems excessively high, especially for items that are supposed to be durable and reliable.To add insult to injury, later that same day, my father received a call from your team asking if my would like to purchase a new chair. This felt particularly frustrating considering the lack of support in resolving the existing issues with his current chair. It is disheartening to see that customer service appears to prioritize sales over genuine assistance.Overall, my father has found your customer service to be appalling, lacking any willingness to help resolve our problems and instead focusing only on extracting more money from him. I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and that improvements can be made in how you handle customer issues considering most of the people purchasing your products are elderly or disabled and deserve more respect.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Daughter of John WatsonWith regards to your comments, my father was never offered extended warranty, the lady on the phone quoted £50 every 15 mins not £25, For what it was going to cost for you to come out he might aswell buy a new chair, not from you obviously due to your lack of empathy future purchases will be from a different supplier
