Payments Made
• 8 Nov 2024 – £1,000 paid to a business bank account not in the name of ADVICI LTD (for 6–8 week marker removal)
• 17 Nov 2024 – £500 paid to a personal bank account not in the name of ADVICI LTD (for internal process funding)
• 21 Jan 2025 – £100 paid to the same personal bank account (for further internal process funding)
• Total paid: £1,600
What Was Promised
• Marker removal within approximately 6–8 weeks
• Professional representation
• Active communication with relevant organisations
What Happened
• 8 weeks passed – no resolution
• Several months passed – marker not removed
• I was told there was informal confirmation of removal, but no written confirmation from the bank was provided to me
• Repeated requests made for evidence of work done
• No clear documentary proof of completed work was provided
Service and Communication
• After I raised concerns and mentioned possible court action, communication reduced
• I later confirmed I had not instructed a solicitor and communication resumed

I asked for:
• Copies of submissions made on my behalf
• Evidence of progress
• Internal processing details
• Full case file
• Response to a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)
Information Received
• General email and WhatsApp responses
• No full case file
• No detailed documentary evidence of substantive action
• No DSAR response provided

• I obtained records directly myself
• Those records did not show the positive resolution described to me

Advice to Others
Before paying substantial upfront fees:
• Clarify the legal entity you are contracting with
• Confirm where payments will be sent
• Ask for written deliverables
• Ask how progress will be evidenced
• Keep full copies of all communications
