I was nervous about Advisor because they seemed new and didn't have many reviews, but I'm glad I took the risk because they're exactly what I needed. My advisor is super attentive and qualified and seems to care about my goals - not just how much money he'll make from me. When I tried working with another advisor a friend recommended, I felt they didn't care much about me or how I felt about my investments. It seemed like his primary interest was throwing me in a pre-fab portfolio and giving me 30 minutes of his time once a year. From the jump, Advisor has been different - their onboarding process was simple yet thorough. Now, I'm confident in my strategy with each paycheck vs. having a million different accounts with little to no plan. My wife is also super happy that our advisor actively includes her in our conversations and takes the time to explain what we're doing/teach us vs. our old guy who would act like it was an inconvenience to explain things more than once to us or in plain terms. It's not a cheap service, but I've gotten tons of value in return.
