Firstly, I’d like to mention that AG has so much selection to choose from. It was an easy to navigate website, with ample upselling in its pop ups, for varying budgets and interests in golf. Secondly, the check out service was extremely easy, especially in ways to choose what method of payment you wanted to choose.
The only place I can say let me down in regard to AG, is that my order was split over two deliveries.
To add to this, AG uses DPD for their courier, which in this experience was awful, due to the courier leaving an entire set of golf clubs outside of my home, without attempting the bell, in a fairly high crime area. It was just sheer luck that someone in the house saw the driver walking away and retrieved the delivery immediately. On the AG website, it’s a reassuring message that DPD will attempt to ring the bell, and in the case that you may not be in, will return the following day. This was shocking that something of such a vast value was just left outside my house, without attempting zero attempt to alert someone inside. I’ve not marked down AG in this instance, as how can they control something a courier does. But I would create an option where a buyer can pay for another company to make the delivery. DPD in my area is awful, but EVRI are very customer considerate.
My clubs have been held up in customs in Spain for 6 weeks, and the company has made no effort to assist in getting them cleared. Their customer service is entirely unresponsive. I strongly advise against purchasing from this service if you anticipate any issues.
This is an excellent platform for golfers of all budgets. I purchased a pair of golf shoes during their holiday promotions as a Christmas gift for my husband. They arrived quickly, and I appreciated the tracking feature. I had previously visited one of their locations and found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. I would happily shop with them again.
