I was at work just looking around for insurance rates and when I entered my info they called me like 30 seconds after. they called me from one number twice then different numbers 5 times after that. I answered after the 4th or 5th call and told them I was at work and I will call later. The first time I said that I hung up immediately because... I was at work, duh. but the second time I gave them like 5 seconds after telling them that I'm at work and I will call them back when I can and they ignored what I said and kept reading from a stupid and very obvious script, so I just hung up on them. After I hung up the second, and last, time, the calls "seemed" to slow down because it was actually a few minutes instead of 30 seconds to 1 or 2 minutes until the next call. That's when I went on google and looked up whether it was a scam or not and saw this website about people with other similar experiences, some worse. I went back to the website and found their privacy policy and terms and conditions and actually went through them. First off, I've never seen anything so "professionally" SHADY in my life!!!!!! I saw the email they provided and, just as others have shared here, it was a non-deliverable address. I went on to keep reading and I found that they had an actual opt-out form, so I filled it out. I have not gotten any calls since I filled it out, but it hasn't been long enough for me to truly say whether or not it solved the issue, but they sell your personal information to different companies, such as your name, address, dob, social security, card info, etc. and even though this is a common trait in business, its still crazy that they give it up so effortlessly and people end up getting spammed with phone calls for DAYS. I'm really really hoping that they don't call again and that the otp-out form worked, especially because I only signed up less than an hour ago and I got at least 7-10 calls from random numbers all with 518 area codes, even tho I was applying for specifically mass insurance. when I looked up some of the numbers, I would get a link to lawfirms as the top result, usually indicating that they have had lawsuits filed against them in the past. I hope that me opting out this quickly decreases the probability of them selling and distributing my phone number to outside vendors, companies, etc. who will continue to spam call my phone. I think I speak for a majority of the people here when I say I wish there was a 0-star option. there should have been some forewarning about the spam calls, but those are the common traits of a scam for you lol.fyi, first 2 calls were at 5:57, 3 at 6:01, 4 at 6:03, 5, the first one I picked up at 6:09, 6, second one I picked up at 6:10. 7 was at 6:30 and 8th was at 6:36. then, I filled out the opt out form TWICE around 6:40. again, they were all (518) area codes, and the second three digits were either 518-362-#### or 518-350-####, after the initial double call from 518-467-6998.UPDATE: I have not received any more spam calls and it has been an hour. I think filling out the opt-out form worked. the opt out form is located in their privacy policy in the first paragraph and under the marketing section, hyperlinked in blue. UPDATE #2: It... didn't work. I have still gotten SO. MANY. CALLS. from these random, I have Verizon to thank goodness they have the call filter. I pay an additional 3.99/mo for them to filter out the spam calls but I get up to 40 a day at times. the email isn't valid, the opt-out form isn't valid. ugh, I wish I looked this up first before filling out this stupid freaking form on this website I swear to gooooooooooooooooddd
