I’d give zero stars if I could! I tragically lost my 16 year old daughter and contacted them for cremation. Due to her estranged father being absent and uncooperative with the process, After told me they would have to hold her body for 45 days before they could cremate her to give her Father time to respond or decide to cooperate to get his signature. They also told me it would be $75 per day and exceed $3000 in addition to the cost of the cremation. The Medical Examiner did the hold and did not charge me. He called me after the 45 days and said I am now able to be her sole representative to make arrangements. I notified After and they said they had to be the ones to hold the body, no exceptions. Even though the medical examiner released her to me to make the arrangements. They are ignoring state law and preying on vulnerable grieving loved ones for money. It’s DISGUSTING! SHAME ON AFTER! Do not use them!!!
