As a paying customer who recently shifted my business focus to analyzing expired domains for purchase and resale, I find myself facing significant issues.
The Problem:
Even though I stay within the limits of my paid plan, my account is frequently flagged for "suspicious activity," leading to daily access restrictions. I'm essentially paying for a service that I cannot fully utilize.
Their Response:
When I reached out to explain my legitimate business needs, the support team responded with statements like: "Your usage pattern deviates from the norm"
"We need to protect our resources"
Despite not exceeding my rate limits, they continue to impose restrictions. The Reality:
It feels like they are using "security measures" as a pretext to limit paying customers from accessing the services they have paid for. Just because my work has changed doesn't mean it should be deemed suspicious or abusive.
What's Particularly Frustrating: I even offered to move to a higher plan, but they failed to provide clear guidance.
I am a single user and not sharing my account.
I remain within my subscription limits.
Yet, the restrictions persist. Account Protection at the Expense of Customers:
While they claim to need to "protect resources," there are technical solutions that could avoid punishing legitimate customers. Other tools manage high-volume domain analysis without similar issues.
Bottom Line:
If your work involves regular analysis of multiple domains, be cautious: this service may restrict your account even if you adhere to your paid limits. Their system for identifying "suspicious activity" seems to favor automation over genuine business needs. I am now contemplating alternatives, as the ongoing restrictions hinder my ability to perform my job effectively. Save yourself the hassle and seek other options if you require consistent access for domain analysis.
