I was a super host for 2 years and never had issues with my apartment. Once I made the appointment to inquire about booking, since I was having some repairs and maintenance, one guest was able to book for the same day. I immediately contacted the quest, who was not responding to my messages ( read them) then I tried to cancel, but it was a nightmare. Even as a superhost with never an issue, never a cancellation, I was unable to cancel from the platform. I then went to call them on the USA number as the reservation was same day. I was forever with a CS agent, who told me they needed me to show them the invoice for the repairs. I explained that I do not have my husband's friend fix them. Then she asked for a photo as a proof. I could not go into the apartment and take it the same day. Then they canceled but charged me a 50 euros fee ( refunded the guest fully), and they took out my super host status, and also some other penalties. This policy is REDICULOUS! If I am a super host without issues ever, and you remove my status and you charge me penalties and also interrogate me, you have bi,g big issues. I unlisted my apartment after this, and I will use other platforms.
