Tried to book an apartment. I followed the procedure and even received the confirmation page saying my booking request had been submitted and I only needed to wait for host confirmation within 24 hours. Yet no message or email ever arrived — very strange.The next day, still with no updates, I called assistance. Only then was I told the operation had been put on hold due to a failed verification. By that point, the property was gone and I had lost my chance to book it. I was forced to secure another apartment at a higher price.The most frustrating part? I paid with the exact same method on the second attempt and the booking went through without issue. Clearly not my fault — yet I am the one who ends up paying more.As usual with this platform: poor communication, poor customer experience, while the company’s executives are worth billions. Customer service only stepped in to deliver bad news. Overall, a very disappointing and costly experience.Air Bad & Breakdown
