Booked apartment in Athens. Got messages from the owner of the flat doing the day. Once I turned up was told that due to electrical issues he had cancelled to the booking…. Contact Airbnb, only to be told that they would refund me the amount, and I would have to secure new accommodation at own cost, which would be more or less the double amount due to high season. The case has now taken over 3 hours, and still no solution given by Airbnb. When speaking to them, I have to explain to he case over and over again, as it’s a new person each time. Each time they said the same, pls give some time…. Bet I’m going to end up sitting on the street for the full duration of my Athens stay
