After our last stay with Air B and B we were billed nearly $200 for damages we did not do. Their dispute center was no help. We were charged for broken dishes we never used or even saw in the house. Scary. Customers should be aware that when you sign your agreement with Air B and B, you are agreeing to follow their dispute decision. In the end, our credit card company could not help us since we signed the Air B and B agreement. Read the agreement. We asked them to delete our account. Hopefully they did. A host can lie and there is nothing you can do. We spent two hours cleaning and shining up the place we stayed in like we always did. Yet the host charged $50 more for cleaning - extra cleaning. The place smelled like dog urine when we arrived. It smelled pretty nice after we cleaned. (We did not bring a dog.) Yet she asked for money to clean it beyond the original cleaning fee. There is no limit (evidently) to what a host can charge in the end after you leave, and there is little you can do. My sister was charged nearly $1000 for damages they did not do. We read many reviews were this same thing happened to others. It all became unsettling to us. Never again. We are happy motel customers now.
