I recently parked at the Atlanta Airport Marriott South on Best Road, and I will never park there again.When I first arrived, I asked for a handicap parking spot. The attendant told me they didn’t have one available, but he was extremely kind and went out of his way to pick me up from my car using a golf cart. I really appreciated his professionalism and kindness.However, when I returned, I had the complete opposite experience. The attendant working that evening was unbelievably rude. He told me there was no one available to take me to my car and that I’d have to walk up a steep hill in the dark to get to it myself. He said he couldn’t leave his post—even though another employee was standing right next to him and mentioned he was about to get off work.I went inside to ask the hotel staff for help, but they said parking is handled by a third party and they couldn’t assist me either. Even the manager at the front desk offered no help.For a Marriott property, this was a major disappointment—especially for guests with mobility issues. There was no concern for safety, no compassion, and no coordination between the hotel and the parking service. I will not be parking there again and would strongly caution anyone with accessibility needs to avoid this location.
