Avoid at all costs. I booked a round trip between Zanzibar and Arusha and the experience was disastrous. On the outbound flight, there was a delay of over 4 hours with no email updates, no corrections on the airport screens, and no Air Tanzania staff at the boarding area to provide any clarification. They even refused to accept the electronic boarding pass issued through online check-in and almost denied me boarding.On the return flight, I was forced to check in my carry-on bag, which was returned destroyed — handle completely torn off and wheel structure damaged beyond repair.Air Tanzania refused to take responsibility for both the delay and the damage. Completely unreliable and utterly indifferent to passengers.
