Ordered a new mobile device and was emailed by Carphone Warehouse a referral offer. My partner is due a new device also, had a look and sent the link over. The link was used as the offer contained the item she wanted, email advising the referral was successful. Up to £40 for the referral, ok great, but what you don't expect is what follows. A 12 week period to authenticate the referral, bit long but OK. The successful referral, £0.01, yep, a singular penny. Contacted Carphone, logged a dissat, nobody contacted me in over a month. Left a review and low n behold a reply, call us. Rang today 'yeah can't help, it's a referral we make to Aklamio, you need to speak to them'. Over a month waiting for this. Anyway, I don't particularly care about the ~£40 it just would have been nice, couple extra drinks for a meal out or some extra flowers at valentine's. The fact Aklamio fully advertised themselves as 'BRAND' and I will air strongly on the misleading advertisment is what people should know. Reading some 'cough' of the good reviews, I'd also assume, for my own opinion of course, these are illegitimate.
