This was hands down the worst Airbnb experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were hit with an awful smell that never went away. The place was filthy – clearly not cleaned between guests. Marks all over the wall, uncleaned towels with holes in which looked like they had been reused for years. The floors were dirty we had a shower put socks on and in a few minutes out clean socks were dirty and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in weeks including hairs all in the bath and stains.The big part was the flies! There were flies all over the room !!!! Including dead ones squished all over the wall. They were all in the fake plants all over the lampshade and all over the window ledge. This was absolutely vile and I have never experienced anything like that in my life. As we arrived so late we had to spend a night here but hardly got one wink of sleep. We also weren’t aware if we were able to get a refund yet as if was late at night. Airbnb were very helpful with this and spoke to them on the phone in the night. We ended up getting a refund the next morning for 2 nights we didn’t stay and booked a hotel for another night.
