Where to start with my review of Aktif International Hospital and the staff that have helped me start my weight loss journey. It all started when I looked up online places to have a gastric balloon fitted when on the first page of the google search appeared Aktif International Hospital after reading a few reviews I made a query online and was contacted soon after by Gaël, from our early conversations I felt very relaxed about the process, and the hospital.Gaël checked a few different dates for me when then agreed on flying to Istanbul on Friday 9th March ready to have my Gastric Balloon fitted on Saturday 9th March. I flew to Istanbul on Friday 9th March where i was greeted by my driver who took me to a 5 star hotel which after leaving the UK at 6am was heaven to just lie down and relax.Saturday morning soon came along and Gaël rang me to tell me that my driver would be at the hotel for 10am to take me to the hospital. About 15 mins later i was greeted at the hospital by Gaël, and the medical team where we discussed the different options available for the best results for me personally. After that I was taken for my blood test and then into room where my procedure was being done.When i woke up i was in a lively private room and was checked on throughout the day and night the staff were amazing.Late on Saturday night Gaël and his Manager Luca come to visit me in my room we chatted about a lot of things and by the time they left i knew that i had made the perfect choice in where i started my weight loss journey. I can't recommend Aktif International Hospital enough from start to finish they been truly amazing
