Alan Day Hampstead - GDPR non-compliant

I tried a car with Alan Day Hampstead over 3 years ago and never signed up to receive marketing communications but am now being contacted via email with no 'unsubscribe' link within the email, this is illegal under GDPR regulations. While the actual experience provided during my visit was pretty bad, my main issue is the way Alan Day is handling my data.During my visit the receptionist ignored us and chatted to a sales rep, when she finally asked who I was there to see and I said I had an appointment to try car she said ‘the sales rep is busy’ and to wait while she went back to chatting. The rep was in the car with us the whole time, which isn’t an issue but was strange and something we hadn’t experienced at any other dealership, I told him I didn’t know the area so he needed to guide me on where to go. He proceeded to not say anything or guide me at all. When we got back to the dealership I told him I wasn’t too interested in buying the car, he then started asking me a checklist of questions to see if I was able to get a loan which wasn’t something we had discussed at all.I got a feedback request about a week after my visit and wrote all this back to them, I got 1 phone call that I couldn’t pick up and that was that. Or so I thought. To my surprise I get an email almost 2 weeks ago from Charles Oakley (but signed by Azmol Uddin, who is actually no longer with the company) at Alan Day starting off with ‘Apologies for the direct contact but our friendly computer system has you marked as someone who has made an enquiry with us, and with news like this we felt it would be wrong not to shout about it.’ Then basically pushing me to schedule an appointment and buy a car from them.First of all, I had a bad experience that I fed back to the team and yet you’re saying you want to ‘shout about it, second of all why is your friendly computer storing my data for over 3 years when never agreed to receive marketing communications?, third of all there is no ‘unsubscribe’ option anywhere in the email which is against GDPR law.I replied and added their ‘feedback’ email address that is included in the email, informing them that contacting customers who haven’t agreed to be marketed to is illegal under GDPR and to be deleted from their database, I haven’t heard back since (over 10 days) so I am forced to leave this 1 star review to let others know that if they book an appointment their data will be stored forever and used for any purpose the reps at Alan Day feel like.
